ABOUT US
Hello and thank you for visiting.

Maiden Horse and Cattle was established in 1972, when Charles Maiden, Jr and Dru Stewart were married and purchased 165 acres on Mound Hill Road in Carroll County. Charles, an avid horse trader and beef cattle producer, has always had too many horses! In 1976 their first child, Patrick, was born. Then in 1982 their second child, a daughter, Danielle was born.
The entire family grew up horse back riding and have rode and shown at local, state, and world show levels.
The kids are now grown. Danielle is married to Jamie Kinman and they have a daughter, Kylee. Patrick is married to Leslie Kennedy and they have a son, Call,a daughter, Kelby, and a third child, another baby girl, Kait.

Currently, Charles takes care of the cattle operation, which includes another 115 acre farm plus the lease of a 100 acre adjoining piece of property. A full cattle handling facility, including activity from calving to weaning, feeding and on to market. Raising of all the hay from alfalfa square bales on the horse side, to round bailing on the commercial angus cattle side.

Patrick takes care of the horse end of the business from breeding a small broodmare band and outside mares, weaning, breaking and training not only of the horses raised here on the ranch, but outside prospects as well. The selection, condition and use of horses for the cattle operation, as well as the horses that will eventually be offered to the public.

Danielle and her husband Jamie are currently in the process of building a new house for their family. The Maiden family and their families all live on the original 165 acres.

ABOUT THE HORSES
The horses here at the Rockin M are used and ridden daily. The tasks range from checking and sorting cattle, checking fence, weaning calves, doctoring or simply on the weekends for trail riding. All our horses are conditioned and have to prove themselves before being offered to the public for sale.

We take great pride in our horses and our name that stands behind them. All our horses sell absolutely 100% quality guaranteed, so if your looking for a weekend trail rider, 4-H or youth horse, to the finished ranch gelding, we'll have just what you're looking for.

With almost 400 acres to work and ride, and a family whose roots run deep and are still firmly planted where it all began. It's easy to see why our horses are some of the best broke using horses in the world.
Thank you for the visit and remember "KEEP RIDIN & KEEP SMILIN" Untitled
